Lil B is known for surprising people, and most recently he surprised fans (and those who aren't fans) by tweeting about the possibility of working with Toronto rapper, Drake.

He tweeted last Thursday, "I want to work with "THE BASEDGOD" again he is the only one i herd rumors "THE BASEDGOD" will be working with drake."

FuseTV has since reached out to the BasedGod to clarify the vague tweet, and Lil B confirmed the two are indeed going to be working together, although he wouldn't give up the details.

"Yeah, we're about to do something real big. I can't speak on it too much right now, but Drake is the only artist [Lil B] wants to work with. We've talked about doing some production."

"[Drake] wants to do something and we're gonna make it happen," he added. "Something real big, so just look out for it."

The NYPD's credibility just keeps getting worse. Amid numerous allegations of racial profiling, and other shady practices the police force must now deal with the bad publicity from one of their own who was busted for giving inside information to drug traffickers. Devon Daniels, was arrested by the Drug Enforcement Agency Monday (May 14) on multiple charges, and is scheduled to be arraigned in a Brooklyn court later today.

According to officials, Daniels, 30, is accused of illegally accessing the NYPD computer system to shell out confidential information to a drug trafficking organization with ties to both New York City and the Midwest. The DEA, NYPD, and IRS all had investigators tailing Daniels, who was busted after a wire transfer sent from drug distributors in Wichita, Kan. was traced back to his bank account. Denials also used mobile computers inside NYPD squad cars to run license plates, and get registration information which he would text to a drug dealer in Jamaica, Queens named Guy Curtis. Authorities stated that Curtis, who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute charges in January, would routinely contact Daniels for favors.  "I need u to clap a felon he always carrying a gun," he said on one occasion, according to the federal complaint.

Prior to being taken into custody, the NYPD placed Daniels was put on “un-paid” leave.

It looks like Weezy wants that old thing back. The rapper hit up Miami's LIV nightclub for a Mother's Day celebration over the weekend and the only thing on his mind was Trina. Wayne and Trina were an item a few years ago, but haven't really spoken about each other in public in a while. Aside from making lots of babies, Wayne also has a girlfriend. Meanwhile, his former lady is heavy on her rap hustle, and just launched a lipstick line.

During his appearance at the venue, Kobe's No. 1 fan grabbed the mic and asked for his ex. "Is Trina in here? Where is Trina?" he said. Luckily for him, the Diamond Princess just happened to be in the building, as he professed his love.

The drug trial for Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond has commenced.

According to NY Times, the 47-year-old, who formerly managed The Game and Gucci Mane, went before a judge in a federal court in Brooklyn on charges that he led a drug ring that pushed millions of dollars worth of cocaine. He is also accused of laundering money and tampering witnesses.

Rosemond’s lawyer, Gerald L. Shargel, declared that his client was “a perfect scapegoat for accusation” during his opening statements. “James Rosemond never touched a kilo of cocaine,” he said. “He is not that kingpin that the government says he was.”

Federal Drug Enforcement Administration special agent Carlos Giraldo testitifed that he used UPS shipping labels in August to track down several kilos of cocaine believe to be connected to Rosemond’s organization.

Back in February, prosecutors said they were accruing evidence to charge Rosemond with the 2009 murder of 50 Cent associate Lowell Flecher, though he has not been charged with any murders.

Meek Mill has done several interiews this week proclaiming that contrary to the rumors, he and Rihanna are just friends, or to put it the way he did, “She likes my music, and that’s that”.

The rapper recently opened up and told Rap-Up.com that the media linking him to Rihanna has been “ruining his life,” specifically his love life. You see, Meek has a girlfriend back home in Philly. Check out what he said about the alleged affair below:

“Rihanna, she was on Twitter talking about she liked a few of my songs on Twitter. And I think the blog game took it to another level. I actually got a girl at home. I be arguing with my girl about blogs and interviews about her. I don’t really be trying to go there with my girlfriend over blogs. It be f*cking up my life a little bit,” stated Meek.

Wait, but what about Rihanna celebrating his birthday with him at a strip club? Meek has an answer for that, too.

“[Rihanna] might have been at the same place as me, but that don’t mean we was together. She a cool person, I met her before, she like my music, and that’s that.”

Well, I guess Meek isn’t getting a slice of that “cake” after all.

50 Cent has delayed the release of his first Gangsta Grillz mixtape The Lost Tape, hosted by DJ Drama.

During an interview with MTV News, Fif revealed that the tape is now scheduled for release on May 22nd. He explained how the tape marks his return to the streets and how there are 10 new tracks that will be featured on the offering, in addition to three previously released cuts.

"I’m back on the streets man, it’s goin’ down. Gangsta Grillz, the first Gangsta Grillz, it’s been long overdue," said Fif. "I don’t want to put too many joints on a tape where it overwhelms people and I don’t like making Now compilations where I got so many people on it where you ain’t sure you like it."

After Kanye West hinted that 2 Chainz is now officially part of G.O.O.D. Music last night on Twitter, the rapper also known as Tity Boi has spoken on West’s tweet. During an interview with Bootleg Kev, the Def Jam signee didn’t deny that he’s part of Kanye’s crew, but instead focused on the aspect of the tweet that he now charges $100,000 per guest feature.

“He just said I’m good, like I’m ill. But we was talking and I think I was jeopardizing my brand sometimes by doing the homeboy special. So I think he felt like we should just put that out there that we ain’t doing no more of that,” he said. “I woulda done almost anything a couple months ago, and it was all about really reaching out because I still will, I’m still grounded, but it made sense for me to slow down a little bit being that I got an album coming out August 14^th. I’m still working on that. … I’m just trying to focus on 2 Chainz a little more.”

As if it's not bad enough that Trayvon Martin lost his life at the hands of a gun-wielding racist, one Florida entrepreneur has decided to capitalize on the tragedy in the most disgusting way possible. An unidentified seller produced hoodies with a gun range target on the front in an attempt to make money off the loss of a life. The anonymous person sent an email to local Florida news station explaining that their goal was solely to "make money off the controversy."

Orlando's WKMG Local 6, spotted an ad for the sweatshirts on a website auctioning off firearms. Although the promotion has since been pulled, the hoodies sold out in just two days, proving that the racists thread runs deep in America.

Mike O'Mara, lawyer to Martin's accused killer, George Zimmerman, distanced himself from the controversy, blasting the sweatshirts as  "the highest level of disgust and the lowest level of civility." O'Mara went on to site the sweatshirts, resembling what the 17-year-old wore on the night that he was shot and killed by Zimmerman, as damaging his client's attempt at receiving a fair trial.

Zimmerman was released from prison after posting $150,000 bail, and has received  nearly $500,000 in donations from his supporters. It's not clear whether or not said supporters also used their funds to purchase one of these disrespectful sweatshirts, but we wouldn't put it past them.

Lil Boosie beat the murder rap. WAFB in Baton Rougereports that Boosie, born Torence Hatch, has been found not guilty of first-degree murder.

The jury deliberated for only an hour and a half before handing down its verdict. While the prosecution thought it had an open and shut case after calling 27 witnesses and thanks to an alleged confession from  Michael "Marlo Mike" Louding, which he later recanted during the trial, anddamning song lyrics, the jury clearly saw things differently. The defense closed its case yesterday without calling a single witness and argued that their simply was too much doubt, and "deception," surrounding the circumstances of Terry Boyd's death.

"This case not about Boosie, but who's being tried first?" said Boosie's lawyer, Jason Williams, in his closing arguments, delivered this morning. "Not the man who says he killed six people." Williams also added that authorities were simply looking for a high profile arrest, telling the jury, "What's bigger than a rapper going down for murder?"

Worth noting is that the jury consisted of six Black women, two Black men, three white women and one white man. Boosie Bad Azz isn't coming home anytime soon, though. He is currently serving an eight-year prison sentence after pleading guily to separate drug charges late last year.

It looks like Kanye West may have made another big name acquisition for his G.O.O.D. Music imprint. The Chicago producer/rapper hinted today that 2 Chainz possibly signed to his label.

According to HipHop-N-More, Yeezy Tweeted earlier today intimating that 2 Chainz's feature charges were going to rise because "he's G.O.O.D." However, RapRadar's Elliot Wilson Tweeted after the fact that there is not official deal between the two artists.
